List of AI resources - how to compare, what to use, where to learn, and more.

## Benchmarking

I can change this constantly because of the infinite inflow of new and better models. It is better to follow some dedicated and better sources. I find the most useful to look at sites that benchmarks them. They are frequently and well updated. As well as benchmarking, they are also useful for finding out current trends - you only need to follow a basic (predefined) view of currently compared models.

- [Artificial Analysis](https://artificialanalysis.ai/)
  - a thorough comparison of AI models
  - they also compare price to power
  - it is a good idea to browse the entire web for specific categories (e.g. text-to-speech)
- [AI Benchmarking Hub](https://epoch.ai/data/ai-benchmarking-dashboard)
  - another benchmarking
  - I personally don't use it much
- [Chatbot Arena](https://lmarena.ai/)
  - AI quality is evaluated by humans
- [LiveBench](https://livebench.ai)
  - AI model benchmarking
- [SEAL LLM Leaderboards](https://scale.com/leaderboard)
  - Another leaderboard
- [LM Studio](https://lmstudio.ai/)
  - Toolkit for local development

## AI services

There are a lot of services and they are still growing. This is just a simple list.

- [Perplexity.ai](https://www.perplexity.ai/)
  - AI alternative to googling (duckduckgoing!)
  - Better results can be achieved just by registering for free
- [Duck.ai](https://duck.ai/)
  - chatbot aggregating several models
  - from a well-known privacy-focused organization
  - no registration required
- [Huggingface.co](https://huggingface.co/models)
  - basically a github for AI models, datasets and more
  - the main page can also be used for trend tracking
  - models can be directly trained or deployed
- [There's an AI for that](https://theresanaiforthat.com/)
  - 31k+ AI services
- [Zoner AI Image creator](https://zonerai.com/en/image-creator)
  - Less famous image creator

## Learning

Quality courses for free.

- Andrej Karpathy

  - [Neural Networks: Zero to Hero (YouTube)](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAqhIrjkxbuWI23v9cThsA9GvCAUhRvKZ)
    - The best source of knowledge, free on YT; I recommend going through the whole channel
  - [Github](https://github.com/karpathy)
    - In addition to the repositories from the course, others are interesting, such as [nanoGPT](https://github.com/karpathy/nanoGPT), which [NYTimes](https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2023/04/26/upshot/gpt-from-scratch.html) trained on for their article
- [Kaggle](https://www.kaggle.com/learn)
  - including complete beginners for python, SQL, ML
- [Prompting 101](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysPbXH0LpIE) from Anthropic

## Other

- [AI Engineer Pack by ElevenLabs](https://www.aiengineerpack.com/)
  - coupons for AI services
  - most of the best coupons are gone (unfortunately, this can only be seen after registration)
  - free, registration required

    - usually asks for a phone number, linkedin is optional
- [State of AI](https://www.stateof.ai/)
  - Yearly AI report
- [Agent Development Kit](https://google.github.io/adk-docs/)
  - Google ADK with examples
